I choose to
take pictures of some houseplants for my watching light project. It was a perfect day for something like
this. The sun was on and off between
5:15 and 6:45 so the light was sharp and strong at some points and dim at other
points of time. I made the shot closer
up shot this time because I thought it gave it more depth and contrast when the
light got strong.
This I
think was a good exercise to do with photography. It lets you know what light to look out for
when taking photographs and helps you see what light works best. I found that a sharp light with shadow works
for these plants instead of overall light.
It makes the green look nice because there are not a lot of other colors
on the plant or in the picture.
